Browser compatibility
Staff profile pages
To be able to edit your pages and staff profiles on the LUMS website, we recommend that you use Internet Explorer 6 or higher or Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.3 or higher on a Windows PC; or Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.3 or higher on a Macintosh. Earlier versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox will not work with the LUMS content management system.
If you have a suitable browser you can sign-up for an account - or, if you already have an account, you can edit your staff profile.
Editing other content on the LUMS site
The LUMS content management system can be used by staff web authors to add and edit content throughout the site. Staff using the content management system to add or edit pages can do so using the following web browsers:
Windows
Internet Explorer 6 (or higher)
Firefox
Other browsers
Note that web browsers based on the open source WebKit engine, which include Safari and Google Chrome, do not currently provide full support for our content management system. If you use these browsers when editing LUMS web pages, you may experience unexpected results.
