Linking to your LUMS working paper
Once your working paper has been published on the LUMS website, it will be associated with a unique URL. There are two ways you can use the PDF file or the URL for your own purposes.
Saving your PDF file following publication
You can save the PDF file to your hard drive and then use it as you wish - to submit to another electronic publication such as SSRN for instance. Find your PDF on the LUMS website, open it and click 'Save As'.
Can't save the paper?
Sometimes Acrobat Reader seems to make it hard to save a PDF file that you have opened. If the 'Save As' command is greyed out in the file menu, click the little floppy disk icon on the Acrobat Reader tool bar instead. This should allow you to save the file.
Linking to the URL for your working paper
You can link to the PDF file through its own unique URL. How do you do this? Once the working paper has been published, find it on the LUMS website, and either click on the link to open the PDF and then copy the URL from the address bar in your browser, or right-click on the PDF icon or file name and then select 'copy shortcut'.
