My first degree in computer science gave me solid background in software engineering, mathematics and problem solving. Toward the end of the degree, I became increasingly interested in management and business, and I realised that to be successful in the IT industry, technical proficiency was not enough.
Undertaking the MSc E-Business and Innovation degree gave me the management, entrepreneurial and IT knowledge to drive innovative ideas into successful commercial products. Furthermore, not only did Lancaster University give me a great opportunity to pursue a quality education, it also allowed me to experience a vast array of cultures and acted as a stepping-stone to my career destination.
I am currently working as a business analyst in IBM Canada. With a company that always strives to deliver innovation to clients, I really find my education pays off and I can put my knowledge into practice.
