Before coming to Lancaster, I had a chance to study in UK as an exchange student for six months. This unforgettable experience made me decide to continue my study in the UK.
The main reason I chose Lancaster University is that the MSc in Finance Programme not only covers the advanced knowledge of finance, but also provides necessary study of accounting and financial management. This programme structure provided me the opportunity to decide which direction I would like to go further. Also, the international character of Lancaster University Management School is another reason that attracted me. This international orientation is perfectly in keeping with the international perspectives and experiences that I wish to acquire. I met many talented students from all-over the world and I loved sharing my study experience with them.
The courses of the program effectively helped me build up a solid theoretical foundation of financial-related knowledge, and in-depth case studies and seminars even brought me to a more practical level. Also worth mentioning is that the modules of MSc in Finance contribute widely to CFA study sessions, which made me pass the CFA level 1 exam successfully before I completed my degree.
My second Masters degree
After the study in Lancaster, I got an opportunity to complete a second master degree in Catolica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics in Portugal. This was a superexcellent opportunity for me. I could obtain a second degree using a relatively short period, and also a new experience of life. Both the International Master of Science in Business Administration (IMScBA) programme and the university life met my expectations. Also, the sessions and workshops of leadership lab helped me develop the necessary skills to be a successful professional, which benefited me a lot.
The experience I gained in Lancaster and Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics is invaluable to me for my further professional career, and I am confident that it will constantly support me in many situations in my life.
