Head of Innovation Policy
Dr Rawlins is Head of Innovation Policy at the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills and was the editor and programme manager for the "Innovation Nation" White Paper. He started his career as a research biologist and then worked in Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and in the Governments Foresight programme.
He has also worked in regional policy and corporate finance roles within DTI and on secondment to South East England Development Agency (SEEDA).
