Case Study: 2am Creative

For Peter Stubbs of Preston-based graphic design agency 2am Creative, being part of the LEAD programme has been a real boost for him and his business.

Not only has LEAD given Peter renewed focus but he has put in place changes designed to strengthen the company from top to bottom.

“I have put together a new and structured plan to take the business forward with the help of my mentor Helen Bailey,” says Peter.

“This has led a real change in the management structure. In essence we are giving the staff more responsibility and this is allowing me more time to focus. These changes are a direct result of taking part in LEAD.”

Established over 20 years ago, 2am Creative has been built on a foundation of pure creative design skills.

Says Peter: “We actually like our agency a lot and as it happens so do our customers, which is why most of our new business comes from referrals and word of mouth.”

2am already boast an impressive clients list which includes: Morrisons, Sharrocks, NST Travel and BMI Healthcare

And it’s no surprise that given Peter’s desire to drive the company forward, 2am Creative were among the first cohorts to sign up for the LEAD experience.

Peter says that LEAD really gets you thinking differently: “Because the elements of LEAD are so varied, it is hard to put your finger on once particular aspect of the programme, and say that it made a key difference. But what happens is that you take away little gems along the way.

“It does take time and a certain amount of commitment but I have no regrets about being part of LEAD."
