We will be running our next LEAD cohort in September 2013.
We are delighted to announce two preview sessions for LEAD.
Tuesday 28th May 2013:
Preview Session: 12pm - 1.30pm (including lunch)
Masterclass: 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Dr. Steve Kempster is Director of Leadership Development at Lancaster University. Steve's session will explore the practice of leading. Little attention is usually given to the everyday activities of leading despite the enormous impact it has on employee sense of commitment and purpose as well as levels of energy and work satisfaction. We will situate this discussion in the context of the entrepreneur, the SME owner manager; we will explore leadership communications within the notion of 'leaderful moments' and a few lucky participants will have the opportunity to give a 'leaderful talk'!

Preview Session: 12.30pm - 2pm (including lunch)
Ian Gordon is a senior teaching fellow and Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University. Ian's session will take an active look at the forces bearing down on a business, forces that can be almost impossible to predict what's going to happen. This masterclass explores the different pressures an owner/manager or member of the top team is faced with and how developing a shared understanding of culture and use of networks can help deliver sustainable growth.
Preview days provide an ideal opportunity to find out more about the programme, ask questions and meet a previous LEAD delegate, where you can hear first hand how it has helped their business.
