The 2010 International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) conference offers the opportunity for family business scholars to come together and share the latest research findings, theoretical advancements, empirical trends, best practice
and policy agendas in a world-class research environment. In celebration of the 10th IFERA conference we will bring together family business researchers and invited family business owners to consider long term perspectives on family
business, to challenge our understanding and build on what we have learned from previous conferences.
The conference will be hosted at Lancaster University Management School in England, which is the leading full-spectrum management school in the UK and among the world’s most highly ranked management and business schools. Our conference chair will be Carole Howorth, Director of the Lancaster University Centre for Family Business, and England’s only Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
