4th IFERA Doctoral Consortium

IFERA is pleased to announce the hosting of the 4th IFERA Doctoral Consortium. The Doctoral consortium has been designed as an interactive and educational event for doctoral students planning to pursue a career of scholarship in the family business field. The doctoral consortium also aims to provide an additional opportunity for the students to get socialized in the field via close interaction with their peers and experienced participating faculty. The Consortium consists of one complete day of workshops followed by the 10th Annual IFERA Conference 2010. IFERA Lancaster 2010 are excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd Faculty Development Consortium alongside a new initiative, Professional Development Workshops (PDWs). New and experienced faculty will all have opportunities to develop their careers and skills, on this day immediately before the main conference. IFERA Lancaster 2010 PhD Proposal Competition

The International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) is dedicated to facilitating and promoting the advancement of family business research by encouraging sound, scholarly, and rigorous research practices derived from all accepted methods of inquiry and philosophical traditions. The IFERA Best Ph.D. Research Proposal Competition initiative, supported by the Family Business Network International, aims to acknowledge and honour the next generation of family business scholars whose research is deemed to hold significant promise to increase extant knowledge in the broad area of family business.
There is also an award of €2000, co-sponsored by FBN International and IFERA.
