Accounting and Finance
The Department of Accounting and Finance takes pride in its established reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. The Higher Education Funding Council for England and its predecessors have consistently ranked the Department in the highest research quality category, corresponding to research of international excellence.
The Department is part of Lancaster University Management School, which has a 20-year reputation for producing world-leading research.
The Department offers an innovative 4-year undergraduate degree scheme, The Ernst & Young Degree, in partnership with Ernst & Young and ICAS. The new degree provides students with up to 18 months' paid work experience with Ernst & Young, and a fast track to qualification as a chartered accountant.
