Applications for 2013 entry must be made via the UK Universities and College Admissions Service (UCAS), from September 2012. 

The UCAS code for the new degree is NN43 (short name is BSc/AccE&Y) and the Institution code is L14.

Offers for the BSc (Hons) Accounting, Auditing and Finance degree will only be made after the successful completion of a supplementary selection process, organised by Ernst & Young in collaboration with the University.  Offers will be formally confirmed via UCAS.

Admissions criteria for 2013 entry are as follows:

  • A/AS-level: AAA/AAB
  • Key skills: Not included in offer
  • Preference: Two or more A-levels
  • GCSE: Maths (minimum grade B), and English Language (minimum grade B)
  • Scottish Highers: ABBBB  - AAABB
  • Irish Leaving Cert: Offers will be made on the basis of 5 or 6 Higher level subjects
  • International Bacc: 35 -36  points overall with 16 points from the best 3 HL subjects
  • IELTS: 6.5 or an English Language qualification, depending on past study, equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in all elements).
  • BTEC: DDD
