Accreditation - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS)
The ICAS examinations are completed at three stages/levels. Lancaster has applied and gained exemptions for the first stage Test of Competence papers. The following summarises the latest position for our graduates from 2008.
Test of Competence
Exemptions are available in respect of the Test of Competence to candidates attaining honours standard (i.e. class III or above) in the following degree programmes:-
- BA in Accounting and Finance
- BSc in Finance
- BA in Accounting and Economics
- BSc in Accounting and Mathematics
- BSc in Finance and Economics
The specific exemptions which were available in respect of the ICAS syllabus were as follows. Some exemptions are option specific.
