The Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster is widely regarded as one of the premier centres in Europe to study accounting and finance-related subjects.

The Department currently boasts over 20 full-time academic staff dedicated to teaching and researching all aspects of accounting and finance. Reflecting its international research reputation, many of the department’s senior staff hold high-profile advisory roles in the accounting and finance profession.

Approximately 100 students choose to study accounting and finance undergraduate degrees at Lancaster every year. In addition to a large UK student intake, the Department’s reputation for excellence attracts students from across the world, including Europe, Africa, North and South America, and Asia. Not only do these students gain from being taught by Lancaster’s expert staff; they also enjoy the benefits of state-of-the-art teaching facilities, generous library resources, excellent IT provision, and dedicated career support.
