Entry requirements for undergraduate programmes
For most of our single and combined majors schemes, A-level students will need grades of AAB. You will find more detailed information on the grades needed for particular schemes in the relevant programme page.
For the Study Abroad programmes, higher grades of AAA are needed.
We also require a minimum grade B in GCSE Mathematics and English (grade A for the Study Abroad programme).
Appropriate combinations involving AS-levels and/or AVCEs will also be considered in conjunction with two A-levels. We are happy to accept other formal qualifications. If you are are international student, you should also look at the English language qualifications you will need.
All candidates are invited to Open Days. These offer an ideal opportunity to find out more about the programme and facilities, and also to hear first-hand from current students what it is like to study at Lancaster. Parents and other accompanying persons are welcome. We normally only interview special cases.
