Lancaster's Management Science Department has many years' experience in designing and delivering customised training courses in Management Science and Operational Research (OR) to external organisations under the LANCORD name.
We offer:
- 40 years experience of working with business and the public sector to provide OR training
- Short (1-3 day) focussed courses to meet specific requirements
- Choice of a wide range of proven courses including: OR techniques, the methodology of OR, problem structuring approaches and facilitation skills

Recent examples of successful courses include:
- a one-day ‘brush-up’ course on linear programming for OR staff,
- two 2-day modules on "OR methodology and problem structuring skills" for analytical staff with a limited OR background.
- "The Fundamentals of Forecasting", a two-part course of 1.5 days of hands-on foreasting methods, systems and organisations - each with support through online-coaching and distance learning software.
