Green Logistics

I am currently involved in a research project on “Green Logistics” involving a consortium of 6 UK universities that is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (http://www.greenlogistics.org ). In addition, Green Logistics is one of the research areas supported by the LANCS initiative which aims to support research in the fundamentals of Operational Research.
New research topics in the area of Green Logistics are currently under development. These may involve new models for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling applications involving environmental considerations, new models arising in remanufacturing and network design models.
