BSc Project Management Degree Requirements

Course Director Mark Westcombe

Core areas on the LUMS Project Management degree are Project Event Management, Project Management Tools and Techniques, Managing Projects, Leading Projects and Change, quantitative analysis, and Strategic Management. Many of the courses are practical and hands-on and can feature ‘real-life’ group projects.

Part I requirements for Project Management majors


MSCI 100 Introduction to Business Analytics

and

MSCI105 Project Event Management

 

Students must take one of AC.F100, AC.F111 or AC.F261 during their degree. Students must also take either MSCI102 or MSCI231.

Part II requirements for Project Management majors

Compulsory half units are:

Third year

Most students spend a year in industry refining the skills they learn during the course and allowing them to leverage full value from the final year courses. Students taking a placement year are strongly advised to take in their second year the module MNGT 200 Management and Consulting: Practice and Critique.
