BSc (Hons) Business Analytics and Consultancy (Industrial Placement)
UCAS code: N1N3
This degree scheme is very similar in structure to the Business Analytics and Consultancy (N2N1) degree, except that it is a four-year scheme: after the second year you spend a year gaining experience in a company on a paid and supervised industrial placement before returning to Lancaster for your final year.
As many of our students have found, a placement year can be a hugely valuable way of developing your understanding of business, bringing the learning from your studies into really sharp focus – and of course adding new skills and experience to your CV. It can also sometimes lead to job offers with the companies concerned.
Specialist pathways
As with the other two Business Analytics and Consultancy programmes, through your choice of modules you have scope to specialise, if you wish, in one of four main areas: business analytics, operations management, project management or information systems.
For full details, please see Business Analytics and Consultancy (N2N1)
How we make our offers
If we are not able to offer you a place on this programme, we will automatically consider you for the standard Business Analytics and Consultancy degree (N2N1) so you do not need to list both programmes on your UCAS form.
