Marketing

The Department of Marketing was established at Lancaster University in 1964 with Ray Lawrence appointed to the first Chair of Marketing in a UK university.

It currently has over 20 members of academic staff, a large undergraduate programme and an MSc programme in Advanced Marketing Management.

The Department has a thriving community of full and part-time doctoral students. Research students not only have access to experienced staff and resources in the University but also contribute to existing programmes of research in the Department.
