Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) has teamed up with Insider to run a very special event. Through a panel debate with business leaders, Insider will debate the key factors that determine a successful, growing company, with leadership at the forefront of the discussion.
It will be an opportunity to hear from those at the very top of growing businesses, about how they manage expansion both logistically and with the right people. It will also be a chance to understand how leaders develop themselves and manage the changing size of an organisation.

Speakers confirmed
Mark Buchanan, commercial director, Eco Environments
With his co-directors Mark is steering this Liverpool-based renewables business through a steep growth curve. Turnover to March 2012 topped £6m, compared to £1.2m the year before, with more to come.
Bryan Bodek, chief executive, Airline Services
Bryan has been running Airline Services since he joined the company in 2000 following a career in corporate law. The business has grown into a £50m turnover operation, and has just received private equity backing from LDC to develop bases overseas.
Nick Dykins, managing director, Slingco
Nick, who is part of Insider’s 42 under 42 and a graduate of the LEAD programme, runs the £4m turnover specialist engineering business Slingco. The company operates from its manufacturing site in Lancashire and has an overseas base in Georgia, US.
