Lancaster University Management School

The first of our UCAS Open Days provides an excellent opportunity for students to find out firsthand about the University, LUMS, the accommodation and the degrees we teach. We include a tour of the campus with a current student, a talk by the Dean of Undergraduate Studies who gives an introduction to LUMS and the facilities we offer, and most importantly a chance to hear from tutors in charge of the degree you have applied for, as well as current students.

We find that potential students really appreciate the chance to talk personally to tutors and to current students to find out for themselves what life is like on our lovely campus.

There will be information available on the wide range of international year abroad exchange schemes we offer, our highly acclaimed work placement scheme for degrees with a sandwich year and employment opportunities for our graduates. There is also a talk specifically for international students including the special facilities and arrangements we make for non-EU undergraduate students.

All applicants who have been offered a place on a degree programme in the Management School (LUMS) will automatically receive an invitation to a UCAS Open Day in the School. This opportunity will be offered to anyone who has a conditional or unconditional offer.  We would also like to extend this invitation to anyone who is considering studying at LUMS.

Attached is a copy of the Open Day schedule with details of travelling to Lancaster, parking and accommodation. If you have any further queries please e-mail: a.welsby@lancaster.ac.uk
