Entry requirements
Applicants for the MA in Hospice Leadership will need:
- several years of relevant professional experience at managerial level within hospice or related sector
- a good first degree or equivalent from a recognised university, or a degree-equivalent professional qualification
- two references from your current employer, one being from your immediate line manager
- a willingness to engage with a learning community and to share their knowledge and experience with others
In some cases, a satisfactory interview with a member of Lancaster’s admissions team may be required.
What if I don't have a first degree?
The degree requirement can be waived for people with substantial work experience who produce an essay that demonstrates their potential for studying at Masters level. We provide guidance on this – please contact us for further details.
