EBS logoDouble degree with
Estonian Business School

The partnership with Estonian Business School (EBS) in Tallinn was established as a result of LUMS involvement with the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN). Oliver Westall, who has played a very active role in CEEMAN, visited EBS in June 2006 and initiated discussions about possible cooperation. The 2+2 double degree agreement on the BSc Business Studies from LUMS and the BA in Social Science, Business Administration from EBS was signed in May 2007.

What is a double degree?

A double degree has many advantages and will be a great stepping stone for your future career plans. You spend the first two years at EBS studying the same curriculum as your EBS International BBA or BBL peers (with a bit more maths and statistics for the BBL stream) and after completing the second year at EBS you transfer to LUMS Part II of the Business Studies degree and complete another two years in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to experience two different education systems, life in different cultures and also meet a lot of new friends from all over the world. This will open a lot of doors for you because you will become more attractive to global employers and this double degree will also provide good foundations for your further academic education, not to mention the guaranteed improvement your English language skills.

Paul TaylorPaul Taylor, Director of the LUMS Business Studies programme, developed a detailed programme description booklet to give you a better idea about how our studies at LUMS are structured. Students from EBS can join the 2+2 degree provided they are enrolled on the EBS International BBA and BBL degrees.
