To ensure that the EBIN programme is the start to a successful career we provide:

Close industry participation in teaching and curriculum development

We work closely with major companies to revise our curriculum on an ongoing basis and to teach classes that integrate novel approaches in academic and industrial thinking. We have fostered direct and close ties with SAP to deliver state-of-the-art modules on enterprise software. We work with IBM to collaboratively teach a module on IT Architecture. In particular, the course entails an intensive 2-day workshop in which you work on a real-world IBM case study.

Industry projects as an integral component of the curriculum

Each year we work with a large number of local and international firms to run 10-week industry projects to enable you to learn in and from the real-world. Employing new ideas and skills in this on-the-job experience as business and technology consultants is a major asset for EBIN graduates when finding a job.

Industry lecture series

Throughout the academic year we bring in industry speakers to share their skills, experience and knowledge with EBIN students. The sessions are aimed at providing you with a clear understanding of the day-to-day experiences of working in different and often challenging professional environments.

Careers planning support

Throughout the year, our experienced careers advisor helps you to identify potential employers and roles, and assists in preparing you for finding employment following graduation. We organise workshops and information sessions that focus on issues such as job-search, career planning, completing job application forms, writing a CV or resumé, preparing for interviews and performing in the interview itself.
