Programme content
The programme provides an integrated compulsory curriculum, together with two complementary specialist routes in either Management (Route A) or Advanced Computing (Route B).
Carefully designed bridging modules in the first term allow you to take either route, regardless of your previous degree discipline.
All modules are credit-bearing, and each student must complete modules totalling 120 credits.
Bridging modules
Which of these you are required to take depends on your previous degree discipline.
- Students from Management disciplines take Introduction to ICT (10 credits)
- Students from Computing disciplines take Management in Context (10 credits)
- Those with degrees in other disciplines must take both of these bridging modules
Importantly, these two bridging modules are designed to enable students to access cross-disciplinary modules. This means students from management disciplines can take the advanced computing options (Route B) and those from computing disciplines can take the management options (Route A).
