UK/EU        £8,400
Non-EU      £14,000

The fee includes:

  • registration
  • all tuition for the 12 months
  • all examination costs during the 12 months
  • graduation

Additional costs

You will need to budget for accommodation, meals and all your other living costs. Lancaster is a cheaper place to live than many of the UK's large cities and you should allow a minimum of around £6,000 to cover these costs.

Lancaster, being a campus university, is substantially cheaper to live in than most UK city universities. All your main facilities and resources are within 10-15 minutes walk on campus. We also provide some guideline information on the cost of living for postgraduate students.

If you have dependants then the costs will be higher. A special leaflet on this is available from the University's Postgraduate Admissions Office for overseas students.

Scholarships and funding are available.
