Programme content
The MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management consists of compulsory and optional modules, plus a project. The compulsory modules ensure that you have a firm grounding in important subjects. The wide range of optional modules allows you to specialise in subjects that particularly interest you.
Phase 1
Runs from October to December through the winter term and consists of four compulsory modules:
- MSCI506: Problem Solving Skills for Consultants (15 credits) – split between Phase 1 and Phase 2
- MSCI519: Spreadsheet Modelling (15 credits)
- MSCI521: Introductory Statistics (15 credits)
- MSCI571: Strategic Supply Chain Management (15 credits)
Phase 2
Runs from January to mid-May, through the spring term and for part of the summer term. As well as continuing with MSCI 506 (see above) you take three further compulsory modules and choose two options.
The compulsory modules are:
- MSCI572: Global Sourcing (with SAP) (15 credits)
- MSCI573: Operations and Supply Excellence (10 credits)
- MSCI574: Logistics modelling (15 credits)

- MSCI583: Pricing Analytics and Revenue Management
Phase 3
After the taught modules, you work on a 60-credit project, usually based in an organisation, on which you write a report for the client and an academic dissertation.
