MBA scholarships (2012 entry)

The Lancaster MBA aims to attract you - the leaders of the future. To facilitate this we offer four types of scholarship. All scholarships are merit-based and substantial, ranging from £1,000 to half the programme fees for self-funded candidates.

The Lancaster MBA Director's Scholarship

The Director's Scholarship is for applicants from the UK and Europe only. The scholarship is merit-based, with each award worth £5,000. To be considered for this award you will need to create a three-slide presentation, answering the following question:

'Picture the moments when you have been at your most successful. What guiding principles of leadership or management can you derive from these moments of success?'

Minimally, your slides would stand alone, with some description in the notes pages. To be more creative you could add audio to your slides, or even produce a short film.

In your answer you should clearly show why these principles are important to you, and include some relevant academic literature to help you reflect on your moments of success. Slides should be uploaded with your application form.
