Fees and finance for the MBA
The Lancaster MBA programme fees for entry in October 2013 were:
UK and EU students: £26,000 (GBP)
Overseas students: £26,000 (GBP)
Fees equivalent* (US$) 41,927 (EUR) 30,670
(*based on exchange rate 22/10/13)
Fees for 2014/15 entry will be confirmed in January 2014.
The programme fees cover all tuition, registration, examination costs and graduation.
The deposit you pay when you accept a place on the programme is deducted from the payment due when you register on the MBA.
Fees are payable at the start of the academic year but it is also possible to spread your fee payments over two instalments: in October and January.
You will need to budget extra for your accommodation, meals and personal spending. Lancaster, being a campus university, is substantially cheaper to live in than most UK city universities. All your main facilities and resources are within 10–15 minutes' walk on campus.
We estimate that you should budget for approximately £9,000 in addition to the MBA programme fees. If you are going to be bringing a partner and/or children with you, the costs will be higher: you may need another £4,500 for your partner and £3,000 per child. See further guidance on living costs for postgraduates.
