It therefore aims to equip students with the ability to:
- understand key issues and recent developments in international business, including trade, foreign investment, financial markets and cross-border labour flows
- address business problems using quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis
It is also designed to give you a rigorous analytical approach to issues and to increase your skills in problem-solving.
The range of assessed work will develop your skills in presenting oral and written work, and give you a training in research skills and methodologies to enable you to proceed to doctoral research or to conduct applied research in the workplace.
