Overview
Quantitative methods are widely used in project planning and management to analyse data in order to understand and track performance. Successful project managers therefore need to understand the core concepts of probability and data analysis as a prelude to project specific techniques of network analysis, scheduling for efficient project management, and the forecasting and monitoring of project outcomes.
The module provides access to quantitative tecniques that allows:
- Structured analytical thinking
- Questioning of information, data and assumptions
- Use of concepts and tools to analyse situations and to support decision-making
- Effective management of data
- Recommend viable and appropriate solutions
