MRes (Master of Research) programmes

The one-year full-time MRes in Finance and MRes in Accounting and Financial Management have been designed to prepare aspiring PhD candidates for advanced research study. It is possible to commence doctoral study at LUMS with the MRes, as part of a '1+3' New Route PhD. The MRes delivers the same rigorous subject syllabus as our MSc programmes, combined with advanced research training and completion of a dissertation related to the emerging research topic. Applicants to the MRes programmes will also be considered for additional bursary and/or studentship competitions.
