MRes in Finance - Programme Structure

Advice on progression to each stage of the MRes programme will be given to each student after the release of taught module results.  Therefore, there will be opportunity for students to switch from MRes to the MSc stream at key stages in the academic year.

Autumn Term (October to December)

Completion of MRes Dissertation

Submission of Dissertation

Provisional registration/commencement of PhD study (October), subject to achieving distinction (including 70% minimum at dissertation) for the MRes programme.

Graduation ceremony at Lancaster

Accreditation

CFA InstituteThe Masters programmes in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster have attained Program Partner status with the CFA Institute.

ACCA logoOur programmes also receive accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for up to four or five exemptions at the Fundamentals Stage.
