Seminars

Motherhood, Consumption and Transitions

Lancaster University Management School, Lancaster University

Friday 8 May 2009

The second seminar will address how consumption mediates the (re)formation of women's identities as mothers.

Speakers will draw on their research into motherhood at different transitional stages in order to examine how women appropriate consumption into their evolving experience of motherhood.

This seminar builds on the first seminar, and points ahead to the themes of the next two seminars: archetypes and identities.
