Alumni meet to find love in Beijing!

Lancaster University Beijing Alumni Group, in co-operation with the Overseas Returned Scholars Association and Chinese Overseas-Educated Scholars Association (欧美同学会 www.wrsa.net), arranged a special outdoor event for single graduates of Lancaster and other UK universities in the Beijing area recently.
Alumni from over 30 overseas universities, including Lancaster, took part.
The event, which took place on Saturday 6th September, was a big success, with over 66 single people attending in the beautiful location of the Longtanjian Scenic spots, Huairou, Beijing. Alumni, aged between 20 and 40 years old, from over 30 different overseas universities took part.
A range of activities were enjoyed by participants, including climbing, sightseeing, interactive games and group competitions, and a BBQ.
And for two alumni in particular it was love at first sight! A Lancaster Accounting and Finance graduate, and a Southampton University graduate quickly found a special bond. All participants enjoyed the interactive activities and friendly atmosphere, and many will hopefully keep in touch with new found friends.
The event included a wide range of interactive activities.
