A 'Dress to Impress' event on Thursday 4 March has raised a total of £1255 for the Save the Children charity. Over 250 students attended the event, which was organised by a team of LUMS student ambassadors. The money will aid Save the Children's efforts in Haiti after the recent earthquake.

Guests were treated to a night of cocktails, canapés, casino games, live music and a magician at Lancaster House Hotel, followed by events at local clubs Cuba and the Lounge.

The LUMS ambassadors would like to extend a big 'thank you' to everyone who attended - it was a great night. Congratulations too to the LUMS ambassadors who made it happen and thanks to everyone who sponsored the event.

Due to the success of this year’s event it is hoped a similar event will run again next year.
