LUMS Alumni Events in Mumbai and Delhi
Published 31 March 2010
Forty alumni and guests attended two events organised for LUMS graduates in Mumbai and Delhi in March 2010.
The two events took place to correspond with a University visit to India made by senior LUMS colleagues Professor Steve Bradley (Deputy Dean), Dr Paul Devadoss (India Collaborations Relationship Director), Louise Briggs (Employability Enterprise and Careers Manager) and Joanne Stott (Faculty Admissions Officer).
Professor Bradley and colleagues were pleased to have the opportunity to meet alumni from a variety of degree programmes and graduation years ranging from 1979 to 2009!

The focus of the two events was a presentation given by Professor Bradley and Dr Devadoss which sought to update alumni on the latest Management School and Lancaster University developments. Of particular interest was the information about links being developed with India, plans for an India Centre and also the new partnership with the GD Goenka World Institute campus in Gurgaon, near Delhi. Professor Bradley’s humorous and interactive presentation style was greatly appreciated by the alumni present.
The events were also opportunities for socialising and networking amongst alumni, and a chance for all to share their views about Lancaster developments as well as about graduate employability and the alumni community in India.
We look forward to seeing alumni at regular events in the future, and would like to say a special thank you to Vikram Bhalla (MSc Management, 2003), Co-ordinator of the India Alumni Group for his invaluable support in setting up and running these events.
