FT: 'Upper second-class degrees lift wages'

The Financial Times reports on research led by Lancaster economist Professor Ian Walker, finding a strong link between higher degree grades and earning power and showing that law, economics and management are the most valuable subjects for study. "The dominant determinant of the returns to your investment is the subject you study and how hard you study it," said Professor Walker.
