People Management: 'Profit-sharing leads to more workplace dissatisfaction'

People Management magazine reports on research by Dr Colin Green of Lancaster's department of Economics, which finds that the benefits of profit sharing schemes might often come at the expense of healthy workplace relationships. "Profit-sharing may increase co-operation and help effort; it may also increase monitoring and pressure," says Dr Green.
