Lancaster India Centre Director participates in UK-India Business Council seminar

Director of the Lancaster India Centre, Dr. Paul Devadoss, recently participated in a UK-India Business Council seminar entitled: "Strengthening the UK-India Partnership: The Benefits of Enterprise and & Employability Initiatives".
The event aimed to highlight the growing importance of transnational connections and international partnerships between the next generation of young leaders in the UK and India. It also showcased the pioneering efforts being made by both UK and India institutions to develop the enterprise and employability skills of young students in both countries, to discuss what role student groups play in the delivery and to highlight the ongoing challenges that students face in gaining employment or launching a business.
Feedback from the event was extremely positive. Tara Panjwani, Business Services Manager of the UK-India Business Council thanked LInC Director, Dr Paul Devadoss for his "valuable contribution...which significantly helped to provide an insight into the key issues and encourage young people in both countries to build strong ties and actively engage with each other".
