Krithika Nagarajan, a student on the MSc ITMOC, has been awarded the prestigious Lancaster India Centre Scholarship for 2011/12 entry.

Krithika, originally from Chennai in India, was one of many Lancaster offer-holders who submitted applications for the tuition fee scholarship of £12,500, made available by the Lancaster India Centre.

Applications were open to all Lancaster University offer-holders from India who held a first-class honours bachelor degree.

Krithika was eventually chosen from among several outstanding applicants to receive the scholarship. The award was made by the Lancaster India Centre Director, Dr Paul Devadoss, who said: “Lancaster continues to attract very high quality Indian students. We are confident students like Krithika will contribute to, and benefit from, the fantastic University that Lancaster is.”

Krithika was delighted to have been selected for the scholarship and said that she is looking forward to the year ahead on ITMOC with great anticipation.
