LEAD participant, Mark Woodward, to appear on BBC North West

The Paper Cup Company design, manufacture and distribute disposable paper cups and cup sleeves to a variety of commercial end users. The company was formed in 2005 and today employs 6 people and has a turnover of £900,000

Mark Woodward, Owner and director of The Paper Cup Company, is currently on the Lancaster LEAD programme. The LEAD programme is designed for owner-managers of SMEs to develop themselves and their business.
Mark has been filmed by the BBC and will be broadcast on 'Inside Out North West' on the 16th at 7.30 on BBC1 North West. The program is about people who are over 50 who have lost their jobs, and are now starting their own companies. The program goes into the challenges they face and how they overcame them.
The Paper Cup Company have moved to new purpose built offices to allow for further expansion having out grown the previous offices. The official opening by the mayor will take place on the 20th January 2012.
