A new cohort of students arrived in Lancaster in late September excited to start their Masters study in Accounting and Finance. This year the total number of students enrolled on the MSc in Finance and the MSc in Accounting and Financial Management is 120, with 27 different nationalities represented - making it a truly international class.
This video news story, made on the very first day of term, features an interview with Professor Steve Young, the Programme Director, and with several students, who explain why they chose Lancaster.
“It's always exciting to welcome a new cohort of MSc students,” says Professor Steve Young. “Our programmes aim to provide a stimulating and enjoyable educational experience that draws on our reputation as a leading UK business school. We are privileged to be playing a major role over the next 12 months in helping students to realise their potential. The Department of Accounting and Finance takes great pride in students' achievements and I'm confident that this year's cohort will give us a lot to be proud about.”
