Climate forecasting

Climate change forecasting and the Centre’s research featured in a presentation by Robert Fildes and Nikos Kourentzes. Their latest research supported the view that the world climate was warming. However, standard time series forecasting methods and approaches had, they argued, much to offer global climate modellers who use massive simulation models but whose models are not demonstrably good at producing accurate forecasts useful for policy.
