Lancaster China Management Centre & Lancaster University Confucius Institute organized a successful seminar in London on 4 April 2012 in collaboration with Department of Financial & Management Studies, SOAS, University of London and China Britain Business Council. The seminar entitled Internationalisation of the Renminbi: Why China’s haste? Was delivered by Dr Guonan Ma, Senior Economist, the Bank for International Settlements.
China-UK Entrepreneurship Competition 2012 - open for entry!

The China-UK Entrepreneurship Competition 2012 is now open for entry. The competition aims to encourage new business ventures between China and the UK and is intended to simulate the real-world process of entrepreneurs soliciting start-up funds from early-stage investors and venture capital firms.

Building employer partnerships in China

Lancaster MBA team in world's largest business competition

A team from the Lancaster MBA is the only UK team selected to take part in the world's biggest competition for graduates with an entrepreneurial flair. The students are competing in the Rice University Business Plan competition, which takes place this April in Houston, Texas.

LUMS students at prestigious New York conference

Two LUMS students attended a unique conference, held over four days in New York City and Washington DC, in February. The International Conference on Cultural Diplomacy and the UN brought together 140 students from top universities in the USA and Europe, with representatives from government, NGOs and the commercial world.
LCMC sponsors LUMS undergraduate students to attend summer school in China

Three LUMS undergraduates have been successful in securing places at Sun Yat Sen University's International Summer Programme and have each been awarded studentships of £1,000 by the Lancaster China Management Centre towards their flights and accommodation costs.
