Sue Peters, director of Lancaster's LEAD programme, was interviewed by the BBC for BBC 1 Televisions's Breakfast programme and Radio 4's Today programme on 5 August.

LEAD is a leadership programme designed for owner/managers of small to medium-sized businesses.

Created by Lancaster University Management School, the LEAD programme has now been rolled out across the whole of the northwest.

In the Radio 4 interview, Sue describes some of the problems SMEs are currently facing when trying to obtain loans from banks. Also featured is Carol Hack, managing director of Capernwray Dive School.
