Appeal of the roller-coaster job

The Times Education Supplement, FE Focus, carried a feature on the 18th August written by Professor David Collinson on the decline in the number of applications for the post of FE Principal. Five years ago there would have been 60-70 applicants, whereas now usually less than 10 people apply. The article explores the results of recent research carried out by the Centre for Excellence in Leadership.
