In March this year, a new four-volume set on leadership, co-edited by Lancaster's David Collinson, was published by Sage. This new collection provides a unique insight into how academic thinking on leadership has developed since the end of World War II.

HR Magazine quotes Dr Andy Bailey, director of Lancaster's Management Development Division, in a feature about the future of executive education: "There will be more interest in how employees take their learning back to the organisation. Criteria will be designed around in-work projects, as this helps to spread knowledge around and add more value to the organisation," says Bailey.
