Building networks: MBA alumni in London
Published 13 December 2011
With more and more Lancaster MBA alumni based in London, the capital is becoming a regular location for MBA alumni social events. This video story covers a get-together on 17 November attended by over 60 alumni, staff and current students.
New alumni met graduates from many years ago to relive their years on the Lancaster MBA and talk about their lives and careers since graduating.
The event was held at The Crosse Keys pub on 17 November. Terry Clarke and Kevin Gaul get the medals for travelling the furthest to get there – one flying in from the USA and the other from Germany – while most of the others had come from London and the surrounding area.
In true multinational Lancaster spirit, alumni at the event were originally from the UK, Mexico, Germany, Thailand, Greece, USA, Italy, Ireland, India, Syria, Taiwan and South Korea.
Lancaster's Director of MBA Programmes, Dr Jonathan Matheny, spoke about recent changes at Lancaster, particularly the expansion of the Global MBA programmes and the importance of MBA alumni as ambassadors for Lancaster.
