Dr Foo Yin Fah, Dr Nagiah Ramasamy, Dr Paul Linus Andrews and Dr Cheah You Sum visted LUMS between 28 June and 1 July, meeting academics and students from LUMS during their visit.

The main objective of the visit was to set up a new working relationship aimed at getting a better balance in teaching loads on Masters programmes, streamlining the moderation process on undergraduate programmes and setting up new research and staff development activities.

Through the Lancaster-Sunway partnership there are already over 700 undergraduates and 40 postgraduate students studying for LUMS degrees at Sunway.

Dr Foo said ‘The visit was an eye opener for us. Sunway University is in a transition stage to full university status and the visit helped us learn a great deal about teaching, admissions and research standards which will help us make this transition and strengthen the partnership.’
